The title of the exhibition is a made up slang. It can be understood in many ways but mainly it refers to the Kunstschlager collective being on the move. This is the fourth Kunstschlager på ratten exhibition but it has been held previously in two different locations in Iceland and as well in Gallery Huuto in Helsinki and continues to evolve and grow as a concept.
The exhibition is one part of a larger project, entitled Tricycle, a collaboration between three artist-run gallery platforms in Finland / Gallery Huuto, in Sweden / Studio44, and in Iceland / Kunstschlager, all of which, in addition to conducting exhibitions, in different ways participate in the conversation about art and art contexts. The project explores themes of identity, community, abundance, value and crisis from three different locations in the Nordic region.

The exhibition is part of a nordic collaboration entitled Tricycle, which is run between Gallery Huuto (Helsinki), Kunstschlager (Reykjavik) and Studio 44 (Stockholm).
